Connection less and Connection Oriented Service


Transport Layer Service


Connection Less- In Connectionless service there is no acknowledgement, no error control and no flow control. It is faster than connection oriented. UDP uses connectionless service.

Connection Oriented- In Connection Oriented service there is acknowledgement, error control and flow control. It is slower than UDP. Example is TCP.
