Is 10.168.255.0 a valid internet protocol address

Recently I came across one question that  Is 10.168.255.0 is valid IP address?

See... Whether IP address is Valid or not it depends on the subnet mask.
Two IP addresses can not be valid 1) Network ID 2) Broadcast IP of any network.

If i use 10.168.255.0 with SM 255.255.255.0 then the Network ID will be 10.168.255.0
If I use 10.168.255.0 with SM 255.255.254.0 here there will be so many subnets and this IP will come under sub-network 10.168.254.0 and 10.168.255.0 will be valid

So do not get confused & use the concept of subnet Mask and find your Valid IP address......
